How do I start using World Access?
To start using the World Access application, follow the following steps:
  1. Buy the World Access calling card from Callingcards.com
  2. Click the "Card To Use" text field on the main screen of the application. Then click the "Edit" button on the top right of the "Select A Card" screen. The "Add A New Card" option will appear then click the green plus icon. Chosse the card that you purchased and enter the 10 digit pin number in that card's "Settings" screen.
What countries will the World Access calling card work from?
The World Access calling card will work from the following countries:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Salvador, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Venezuela, USA
What is a local access number?
A local access number is a local number within a country that allows you to call a phone number in that country but at cheaper local rate. (Please make sure that the local number in your local country is considered a local call otherwise long distance rates my be applied from your cell phone carrier.)
My iPhone contacts do not have the number 1 before the area code, what do I do?
If your iPhone doesn't have the number 1 before the area code in your contact list you have two options. You can either:
  1. You may edit your contact list and place the number 1 before the area codes.
  2. Or when you click a contact's number to call either from your favorites or your contacts in the application, you are taken to the "Edit Number" screen where you have the option of adding the number 1 before the area code of the contact.
I am traveling with my iPhone and I would like to use the World Access application, will it work?
Yes the World Access application will work in any country that Callingcards.com has access numbers in. (Please make sure that the local number in your local country that is being dialed for access to the calling platform is considered a local call otherwise long distance rates my be applied from your cell phone carrier. Any cellular airtime used may be billed by the cellular provider or local service provider in country of use.)
I am traveling and my call fails. Am I dialing everything correctly?
If you are located in the same city as the local access number, you may not need to need to dial the numbers in parenthesis. For example the access number is shown as 0 (11) 52391351, you may not need to dial the 11 which is the city's area code.
How do I edit a local access number?
To edit a local access number you have to follow these steps:
  1. Press the "Select Access Number" box on the main screen.
  2. Choose the country and closest city to where you want to place a call to.
  3. Now you may edit the country code, city code and dialing prefix of your chosen city according to your country's dialing requirements.
How do I add my contacts to my World Access favorites?
To add your contacts to your World Access favorites follow these 2 steps
  1. Press the plus symbol (+) on the top right of the Favorites screen.
  2. Choose the contact's number you want to add (home, mobile, work, etc..)
How do I call to an international country?
To place a call to an international country, you have to choose an access number that is closest to your location. Once the chosen access number and contact's number is on the main screen just press the "Call" button.
How do I recharge my World Access calling card?
To recharge your World Access calling card you have to do the following:
  • Log into your account on Callingcards.com on a web browser and recharge your card there.
